SAMSUNG'S NEWEST FLAGSHIP; THE GALAXY S8.
Design
The Galaxy S8
is hands down the most beauteous smart phone on the market as of date. Like the
G6 the front of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is almost all screen; 5.8 inches of
screen to be exact. The S8 is thin, and incredibly light. It measures 148.9
x 68.1 x 8mm in dimension and weighs only 152g. Every corner and edge
has been rounded on the Samsung Galaxy S8 to give the user a very pleasing feel
in the hand. It packs in wireless charging and rated IP68 water- and
dust-resistant; Hence, it can handle up to 30 minutes to a depth of 1.5
metres of water. It is said that the Galaxy S8 will come in
three colours at launch Midnight, Orchid Gray, and Arctic Silver.
Camera
In the Galaxy
S8, all the camera specs tell the same story as its predecessor the Galaxy
S7: same 12MP sensor on the rear with an f/1.7 aperture, fast autofocus
etc. One of the biggest upgrade to the camera is the multi-frame image
feature; When a picture is taken, the camera actually takes three shots and
selects the best one for you, the camera does this with each picture you take. The
auto mode is rapid and takes brilliantly sharp images every time, the pro mode
is slick and fully-featured, and there are a host of other modes (included
background defocus, just like in the iPhone 7 Plus). The front-facing
camera has been upgraded to 8MP with a great low-light sensor. Samsung even
added some face recognition effects to the front facing camera in attempt to
mimic those found on Snapchat.
Display
The Samsung
Galaxy S8 display has taken the title of "Best smartphone
screen" in DisplayMate's in-depth testing - putting it above all
overs on the market. The 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display is clear, bright
and colorful, with a QHD resolution. The S8 has a resolution of 1440 by
2960 pixels, a pixel density of approximately 570ppi. The phone has an
18.5:9 aspect ratio, similarly to the LG G6. It also features 3D touch,
Always-on display and TouchWiz UI.

Performance
The Galaxy S8
is easily one of the most powerful phones in existence. This phone has an
octa-core Exynos CPU running four cores at 1.7GHz and four at 2.3GHz. It 4GB
of RAM works seamlessly well when you're multi-tasking, running intensive apps,
or hooked into the DEX dock to use the phone as a computer, it is lightning
fast. The S8 comes with 64GB internal storage with a microSD slop for
expandable storage. The S8 stacks a 3000mAh battery with wireless charging.
The biggest new addition to the Galaxy is Bixby. Bixby is an AI system
that Samsung says was designed to make device interaction easier, specifically
designed to avoid the complexity of increasingly fully-featured devices. It
will make its debut on the Samsung Galaxy S8 devices, but is
designed to work across a range of Samsung products.

Nice phone but the question is, will this one blow up too? If there are no reports within the next few months I may consider purchasing this device.
